I am looking to buy a GOOD digital camera. I have been researching and have narrowed it down to two choices. The Canon Powershot S3 IS, and the Sony Cyber-shot H5. If you have one of these cameras please give me your opinion on it, the pros and cons. I have read mixed reviews on both cameras.

Which digital camera currently on the market is comparable to the Canon AE-1 Program 35mm film camera?

What digital camera would be best for me and my price range this Christmas?
